Can Hubb send reminders for events?

Hubb doesn't send automatic reminder emails or notifications for events in your calendar, so if you've been looking for a setting to switch on, you haven't missed one.

Here are the ways churches remind people instead.

Ways to remind people

  • Volunteers on a rota get reminder emails before they serve. These are on by default. Each volunteer can turn them off or change how many days ahead they arrive, and your church can switch them off for a particular rota. Volunteers can also subscribe to a calendar feed of their serving dates, so their rota shows in their own calendar. See rota reminders and sharing your rota with volunteers.
  • People who book onto an event get a confirmation email when they book. If someone books on behalf of other people, those people may not get a confirmation of their own, so it's worth asking whoever books to pass the details on.
  • You can send a reminder yourself by email, as a Broadcast, or through your church app. See our Messaging guides.
  • People can add your calendar to their own, such as Outlook, Google or Apple, and set their own reminders there. This can be your whole church calendar or the calendar for a particular group.
