IMPORTANT: Please make sure you have given us the domain name in advance of changing your DNS, we need to add this in the the host name page in the site settings prior to you making any changes for this to work. If you want a rapid, trouble-free switch then you should reduce the TTL in the DNS settings in your domain account to something low (5 minutes/360 seconds) at least 24 hours before you want to switch, this will enable the records to update more quickly when you make the change. You need to go into your 123-reg account and login and follow the steps below. You will see highlighted in red which bit you will need to click in each case. STEP 1: Click on the ‘Manage’ button next to the required domain name. STEP 2: Click on 'Manage DNS' under 'Advanced domain settings'. STEP 3: Click on Advanced DNS – DO NOT click on the 'change' buttons on the Basic DNS page to set the A records – this is only if your website is on the 123-reg server. STEP 4: Locate the two A records – the top two in my example image. (These will be called '@' and '*' or 'www') STEP 5: Click on the edit button next to the first A record (for * or 'www') – change the option highlighted to be our IP address of 85.13.213.3 click on the green tick box to 'OK' this setting STEP 6: Repeat step 6 but for the second A record (for @) – again, change this to be our IP address of 85.13.213.3 and click on the green tick. DO NOT change any other A records. Step 7: If you’re using emails on the domain you need to add an SPF record to enable you to send emails from the website. So add a TXT record for 'v=spf1 mx a:smtpweb.uk.endis.com ~all' by clicking to add a TXT/SPF record, setting the first column to ‘@‘ and adding 'v=spf1 mx a:smtpweb.uk.endis.com ~all' (without the quotes) in the destination box. It can take a few hours for the records to propagate, so please don't be alarmed if you don't see the site straight away. If you have previously visited this domain from your browser you may need to clear your cache in order to see the new site. If you could please get back to us when you have set the A records, we can then apply for the certificate to enable your site to appear via https. We can't do this until the DNS is set to point to our server, and until this is done the site will point back to the hubb.church url to enable it to appear over https.
